Red lentil dahll

Ingredients

  •  1 ½  Cup red lentils
  • 1 Large onion
  • 1  Bunch of fresh dhania
  •  2 Teaspoons gushed garlic
  •  3 Teaspoons BBQ spice
  •  1 Teaspoon mild yellow curry
  •  70 ml tomato paste
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

  •  Fry the chopped onion until see through but not brown. 
  •  Add the gushed garlic and the spice and fry until spice change color.
  •  Add the red lentils and immediately 6 cups of water.
  •  Cook the lentils until mash about 60 minutes.
  •  Add the tomato paste and simmer for 10 minutes.
  •  Turn off the heat and add the chopped dhania leafs.
  •  Serve on a bed of jasmin rice .

    Serve 4 Persons
