Turkish Salad

A Salad made with Tomato and cucumber......................

Ingredients

  •  2¼ Onion
  •  1 Tin chopped Italian tomatoes (425 g)
  • 1 English cucumber
  •  2 Bay leafs
  •  1 Teaspoon Cumin
  •  Red chilly to taste
  • Pinch of Salt

Method

  •  Chop and fry 2 onions until lightly brown.
  •  Add the chopped Italian tomato and one cup of water.
  •  Cook slowly to reduce water sauce should be quite thick.
  •  Add the Cumin and red chilly.
  •  Set aside to cool.
  •  Add the chopped cucumber and finely chopped ¼ onion.
  •  Serve as a side salad or on pita bread.

 Serve 6 people
