Souskluitjies desert with cinnamon

Ingredients

  • 1x Egg
  •  250 Ml Cake flour
  •  100 Ml Milk
  •  10 Ml Baking Powder
  •  50 Ml butter
  • Pinch of Salt
  •  700 Ml water( for boiling)

Method

  • Mix flour, 25 ml butter and Baking powder until fine crumbs.
  •  Mix the egg and milk together.
  •  Add milk mixture to flour and mix to a soft dough.
  •  Place spoons full in boiling water and cover pot with lid.
  •  DO NOT lift lid from pot during boiling process.
  •  Boil for 20 min and then remove from water.
  •  Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and cover.
