Ingredients

  • 1 Tin Chick peas ( 425 g drained weight 244 g )
  • 1 Cup Chick pea flour
  • 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 Onion
  • Pinch of Salt
  •  1 Teaspoon Paprika
  •  ¼ Teaspoon Cayenne pepper
  •  4 Teaspoons Cumin
  •  Oil for frying

Method

  •  Chop onion.
  •  Add onion to flour.
  •  Add baking powder and spices and mix.
  •  Add drained chick peas.
  •  Add a little water to form a stiff dough.
  •  Drop teaspoons full in oil ond fry until brown.

Serve hot as side dish or on platter
